The best method is to be active on social networking websites . Comment on other blogs and get to know more about webmaster. Participate in giveaways and other promotional programs in other blogs . In my opinion, being active on a RELATED and POPULATED forum is, by far, the best free way for attracting a nice and steady traffic.
Be careful with Yahoo Answers. I was recently terminated for what was I imagine considered spam. Although I always answered the question in detail, I always included my link too because I think I earnt the right too. I saw from other posters time and time again what was clearly a copy + paste scenario regardless of the question. I even reported this yet I was penalised! The last few times I got lazy and answered the questions vaguely yet still included a link. Perhaps that is what led to my being banned. However, there's no doubt that the answers you give, especially if chosen as best answer, brings in SOME traffic. I know so, because in the past I've ended up on some site reading the article - all as a result of seeing a link in Y! Answers which I came across in a Google search. What annoys me though, is that although I may have been considered a spammer, the answers I gave and the content I referred the question-asker too was and is helpful content. If spamming is immoral, then surely Yahoo should revise their advertising policy since they are advertising "Docs Money"...
No doubt, Yahoo is not so good in banning spammers. They can't even recognize if the the person is spammer. so sad for the victims.
I think it is better to improve such method you've mentioned. Like is social bookmarking, build your network on them, also getting votes would increase your post's impressions.
I think you have covered all the best free methods of generating traffic. All of these options require some work on your behalf so there is no getting out of it. Instead of looking for that magic pill start writing articles or blog commenting. This will be much more effective in the long run.
Nova day's traffic generation is main most valuable thing here is got many opinions about traffic generation but most important thing is from these types of traffic you can get real visitors it's always suspicious. so in my opinion getting traffic from SE is more valuable than others.
I totally agree. Understandably, people want to avoid the real work and just take the money. I see affiliate marketing as a long term venture. The japanese have something known as a 200 year business plan! This what they term "steady growth", where they are prepared to wait a long time before making those killer profits. While I don't have that long, 2 years seems reasonable while writing good content and solidly promoting my site. There are no fast solutions I'd consider as I don't want Google to penalise me for my methods
By driving trafiic to my site, I use these ways: 1. Yahoo answers. Answer every question related, and leave your link there. 2. social bookmark. Submit your site to every social bookmark site. (this will bring a lot backlinks and visit) 3. Start a blog and write articles about your industry. comment on other blogs 4. leave signature links on every forum.
I'm pretty sure they're cracking down on this. I was terminated although I believed I was not spamming at all. Every site that springs up such as Y Answers eventually gets over run by spammers, and because I WAS advertising my link after providing answers, I was deemed guilty by association. Just a warning for those who intend to sign up for the sole purpose of advertising. You might want to wait for a while before including links
