AHHH! Someone is going to my site and clicking outrageous amounts of times! I got 30 impressions and 240 clicks! This is 2 days in a row! What am i to do? How much in danger is my adsense acocunt?
240 clicks / 30 imp? Wow, who'd you tick off? Best write to Google asap if you haven't already... look at your weblogs and see if a single IP or a few IPs are hitting your site a lot and ban them... otherwise institute adlogger or something else to block repeated multiple clicks from an IP.
i suggest you to temporarily put your ads down on the sites it will be a wise step...in the long run. account will be saved
Contact google asap. A few weeks ago i was in the same situation as you. I have contacted google immidiately and a friendly employer said: Thank you for sharing this information, we realy appreciate it and we hope that you stay with us. So dont hesitate and send an email now.
Yes contact them and offer them to send in your log files (they'll probably don't take the offer) and also ask them if you should remove the ads from the website awaiting for the end of their investigation. You do those propositions and wait for an answer, would be nice to copy it in this thread so other people will know what happen in a case similar to yours.
1st of mail to google to tell them you are not spamming otherwise be ready to get banned this also happened to me and i got banned once... but fortunatly got my account back but this dont happen always so it would be better to get yourself ont he safe side.
I would send the email to , they were the most helpful when I accidently clicked one of my own ads. I'd recommend you remove the ads (and mention this) until they are finished investigating.
Thank you all for being so helpful! I sent them an email doing what you all recommended! When i get it back I will post what they said. Thanks for your help!
I would check your web logs, with such few views, they will surely be comming from a small number of IP addresses. Most hosts will allow you to block IPs in their control pannel quite easily. You should also tell google I think.
Have you tried using Adlogger from http://www.adlogger.org/ to control the number of clicks for each day?
