    I noticed many of my websites that were completely dead and had no backlinks got their PR3 out of nothing...
    Is this some kind of scheme for google attracting website owners into their business web?

    It would be better if you will share the address of your sites. Anyway, page rank numbers are really odd nowadays.

    Getting PR requires zero effort, ranking requires effort. All you have to do to get a PR4 is get one PR5+ link.

    How sure are you with this statements you've said? if i get a pr5 link my rank will boost? i think your lacking to backup through what you have said... more info could use a little more help..

    yeah...my websites popular...what a joke, i think its easier to find hot worms in venus... :)
    Actually i know a PR3 site (same pr as mine) that has about 100,000 entries on google and is ranked 1k at alexa.
    PR couldn't say less about a website :) If you think google as a person, its only one person's meaningless opinion ;)

    I have websites that I dont even promote and get pr3 quite easy. The site in my sig won't even get PR anymore.

    Got to love it.
