    I don`t know what`s up with Google, seriously ...
My site has over 441k pages indexed, and I started getting over 1.5k visits per day = 2k pageviews ... after 3 days or so, bam ... it dropped to 300 ... next day 200 ... This happened before ... Any suggestions to why this happens ? I also got a PR2 after the jan PR update ( pr1 to pr2 at least it`s something ) ...

its toooo big site and i think there tooooooo much to get UNIQUE content in all pages, and caught by GOOGLE bot as duplicate content and you got a panelty of drop down from 2k V to 300 page views... try to find any mistake that you have made with your site. good luck

They are referring to onpage content being duplicate.

I doubt it`s the case, I checked numerous threads, and nothing :( Plus google sitemaps reports duplicate content as far as I know.

You won't be 'penalized' for duplicate page content within your own site. Google says to just try to make it easy for the Google bot to recognize the version you prefer them to index. If you have, let's say 100 pages with nearly identical content, I would say only one of those pages will be indexed.

If you have tons of duplicate content, your entire site will never be fully indexed. If it was fully indexed before with a lot of duplicate content, I would say Google has caught onto that, and narrowed your indexed pages to only unique content.

Does this make sense, or seem feasible?

I don't think that Google really hates you. Maybe its a coincidence only. Just be patient as long as you can. Ask for the experts. ;)

It is called the Google Rollercoaster :) There are ups, but also there are downs.
If there isn't any duplicate content, keyword stuffing, blackhat methods etc. your traffic will come back soon.

Well then, i guess its time you fix the problems on your site and started making banners and
adverting links on relevant sites to bring back your lost visitors :)

Never rely on anyone or anything as you are destined for heartbreak sooner or later

I think it very much is the case. Your scraping content from other sites and google is not giving you as much love.

Are you using any BH technique, like Door way pages ?
Google really loves unique content, so get rid of the useless pages and focus more on the important ones that adds value ;)

Sometimes, it might happen as what some of SEO experts call it "Google Slap". It go missing form google ranking for a while, and get back to where it is supposed to be back in a few days/weeks.
