My biggest mistake was thinking that it would just be easy. When I started a long time ago I thought that if I had a pretty design for my website and a few web pages everyone would visit it.
the biggest mistake i made was i wasn't proactive when i do things.. it's bad for everyone another mistake i am trying not to make is "copy paste others and easily give up" and i think i am going to right direction.
I had 3 'big' project last 3 years, these were build around my hobbies i had back then. However after i lost interest, and found a new hobby, i let the site die, and only focus on my new site. I could sell the site or simply pick a few fanatic users that were still interested in the subject of the site, and let them add new content, so that the site keeps active and making revenue. But my mistake is that i just focus on my latest project, and let all the hours i spend in my older project die, once the new site is popular enough.
Don't do anything that you don't like if your love one do with you.! Choose the topic, on which you have good command, not just because your friend doing same!

My first mistake was that i started promoting affiliate links on Yahoo instant messenger and got banned in just few days . When i received email from them about it than i replied that what is the problem if i drive traffic via yahoo . You guys are cheating me and eating my commission . God will never gonna leave you for such small cheating . Lol now when i think about it , it makes me feel very embarrassing .
