    I recently installed the widget from www.sphere.com but haven't noticed any change in traffic. I'm getting the feeling this is more benefitital to them than to me. Anyone else tried using this widget on their blog?

    I think you are correct. I have not used it, but it does not look very beneficial to the person who puts it on their website.

    You guys know I have never heard that this widget is very popular. So, if its not popular that means its a waste of time thinking about it.

    I have used it before. I wasn't really that crazy about it. All I can see is that is directs people away from your site to someone else's, (which may work in return), but I would rather my readers leave on their own, or stick around and buy something.

    I don't like anything that gives my readers and enticement to leave unless it's a link to purchase.

    Ok I guess that's all I needed to hear... I've removed it!

    I originally thought that it would mean that people will also visit my site through it but haven't noticed anything like that...

    I have used sphere before .There is some advantage in traffic but not appreciable . Also I noticed a Google backlink from sphere for sometime , but was removed after discontinuing the widget from my blog .
