Some honest Reviews/Feedback on my Forum.

I would be happy with some honest feedback on this new Manchester United FC Fans Forum.

It is very plain but I would like to keep it that way.
All the same though, Any suggestions on making it look better would be appreciated.

 

The photo at the top is small, you could have a much larger image, one which stretch all the way over to the search box, with the site title within it.

I think its very bland.. The header definitly needs to change.. and it needs some "Life" in it.. some ads, some content. somthing.. You need to get some life into the template and the page itself.

like it though cause im a MANU Fan

It is a newly install forum i didn't found any work there except that you put a picture in header logo. Replace this pic with a new header which contains the top players of Manchester United (faces only) with the tiltle in center and also work to replace the topic icons to football icons if you like in the botoom place some picture of a player hit the football to goal scene. make the forum over look to some sporty look because you do nothing except installing the forum. keep an eye on using seo.

 

The design isn't bad but I agree with what has been said thus far about the header
you should definitely get a larger graphic for the header.

 

The color combination is excellent . It needs more content.

 

The banner at the top would be much better if it has a right combination of colors. You could research for a right color combination for web development tho

I have my header how I want it now.
I changed the topic icons as coolhearts suggested and think that was a great idea.
I guess now it needs more content. (And users!!) lol
Always open to more suggestions.

 

Its a good forum. Of course yes you do need to get some people in there postings. Doesn't look like it is going anywhere. Each page loads really nice. So your not heavy on graphics. Thats important to me on Internet Dial-Up.

 

I like how you tried to keep the website simple. Personally, I would try to remove the 'yellow/orange' curve line at your header banner as it's blending the word 'Manchester United' instead of making it stand out. Every other aspects just work fine to me. Great work!

 

i like the fact that it's simple. ur logo looks very well done. what program did u use to make a forum site? good idea!

 

I'm thinking that since the "first" board (Welcome To ManUnitedFans Forum...) isn't really a board that it should be just a paragraph of text above the Board Index link . . . just below the header.

I'm not a non-American football nut, but I think the forum looks cool - it's clean and the colors just plain work. In my browser, though it looks too narrow. And you already know it needs more content.

I took the welcome msg from the first board and have crudely added a welcome msg where you suggested. Isn't much but I see the improvement in that alone. Getting there.
Now just gotta do something about content.
mmm maybe run a contest to see who can "post the most" in a week?
