Hey guys, I have just noticed that worldcarfans website features 4 Adsense ads at one page. How come? Were there any changes in the rules? I thouht (and still do) that only three of them are alowed! http://www.worldcarfans.com/
Yes, only three ad blocks are allowed. If you're talking about your worldcarfans blog, I just checked it and found only two ad blocks. So, I think there is no problem at all.
Try not to confuse yourself between ad unit and link unit. You are allowed to have 3 for each of them. And don't worry about getting a warning, even if you place codes for 4 ad units because only max 3 will appear at one time. That's already been preset into google adsense.
you should not focusing on how many ads you have but how much content you have..... no offense but this website owner was misinformed some where... all i see is ebay ads BTW, i dont get into ebay so i dont know much about there rules
Thanks Lycos for sharing your talent until i was under impression that total 3 ad units are allowed but was not aware of difference between Link and ad units.....
This isn't technically his fault. It's actually something I've experienced: In Google admanager (which they're using) you can get google to display adsense in place of unsold inventory. Example: If you have 5 adslots which are unsold, google has the option to fills these placements with adsense... you can't stop it unless you notice (which if you use geo targetting you may not) and manually turn the option off.
