Does Social bookmarking really help?

    I just wanted to know if social bookmarking helped with SERPS or if it was a bit too spammy and crap

    also, any proof would be good

    you can get traffic from social bookmarking although is not targeted traffic

    Yeah, Social bookmarking is useful for gaining traffic to your site. So they are helpful in SERPs.

    I had a client with a wallpapers site into stumble - he was getting 5k monthly from there
    I subscribe my php tutorials blog too but got only a few 10 visitors
    I dont know how this works

    i have not experienced its goodness.but i know another blog which is now ranking 28000 in alexa.Earlier it was 12000 - but suddenly there was tremendous increase in traffic.iam sure he did not do too much two way backlinks - his PR is 2 .He always uses too much social sites .

    Social Bookmarking will help your SERP if its DO Follow. Although you can get traffic from NOFOLLOW SB but it does not help your SERP

    Social bookmarking is really helpful in many ways - do follow bookmarking site can give you back link, direct traffic and also increase your ranking in search results.

    if you want to promote less competitive keyword and want to be in top 5 in just 10 days,I am sure social bookmarking will do the trick for you.
