    Indeed they are Google colors. But concerning favicons they never had those colors ... so I might as well say they are Chrome's favicon colors ;)

    The new one hasn't appeared for me yet. I don't feel like clearing my cache. But, from what you've posted I can say I actually do like it more than the other. Looks like I'm the only one too :p

    The favicon look very ugly. Can't they design a better one. I like the old Google favicon though.
