Hi I met a man who I entrusted to get my site ranked on google. We all know about the shady ones who guarantee it and then to find out they guarantee top placement for your webaddress which anyone can do. My partner gave this man a search term to get placement with, in less than a few days we are hovering at 4 or 5 on google for that search term and the site went from a pr 0 to a pr2.

I feel very greatful and told him I would promote him, if you would like his email address just pm me and I will send it.
How much does he charge, hardly anything right now compared to the big boys but all depends on your search terms and website.

He guarantees it and is well worth it.

Look you can be skeptical all you want but yes he is in the process of optimizing the other keywords and when he is done I will show proof of that also.

 

Seems like a shameless plug to me. If it's not, I think you're lucky and you're going to be upset if anyone starts competing for those terms.

As a general rule never pay for guaranteed rankings. If they don't work for Google and have direct control over the listings, they can't truly guarantee it. You could lose that ranking tomorrow, and this person still has your money. Simple as that.

 

Why pay to rank high when you can do that by building your own SEO site?

 

You are ranking well for "Business List at the Cheapest Prices"????

I can get you ranked on page 1 of Google for:
"The Best Business List seller on the entire planet with cheap prices"
for half the price you paid.

My search term is much better right?

 

you need 2-3 competitive keywords. not 5+ useless keywords.

The reason we're skeptical is because we've all seen this scam countless times, with the same results. I hope your story is different.

I agree that 'cheap business lists' and 'cheap business list' would be far better terms to try to achieve rankings for; but even those terms are not searched enough to show data in Google's keyword suggestion tool. The LONG phrase you have ranked for could be achieved without any SEO.

For instance, our web site ranks #5 for 'stainless steel aluminum handrails with glass infill panels', and I did not optimize my site to rank for that term at all. It's just a phrase made up of my web site's contents.

Unfortunately, no matter how reasonably this person's services were priced, you paid too much for this work. This person isn't worth his salt if he charged you for it, in my opinion.

I am sorry to say that you will find that you will receive no traffic from this term...especially if you are in 5th place. Should someone actually search it, the sites above yours will likely receive the click.

Also, Google ignores the words 'at' and 'the' in this keyphrase. So, by default, your optimized search term becomes 'business list cheapest prices. No one will search either version, I'm afraid.

How competitive are the other phrases you are having the site optimized for? Do you know their search volume?

Do you realize that only your home page is indexed by Google? Your SEO expert should know how to get your site indexed beyond your home page...you can't be ranked if your pages are not picked up by Google. Ask him about this too...

 

according to adwords keyword tool that term gets approx 0 searches a month. Well done

which is the reason why so many people in this thread are pouring cold water - it's not difficult to be number one for a longtail that nobody is optimising for.

With a domain like cheapbusinesslists.com you should be number 1 using a long-tail phrase like "Business list at the Cheapest Prices". I can't believe you don't rank for "Cheap Business Lists", I'd be aiming to rank for that as it is your exact domain.

This thread is also number 3 for " Guaranteed Listing"

You dont need to wast money for such things..
As long as you have unique contents,you can get indexed in no time..
My site is 3 months old,but i always rank 1st on the 1st search results page..
