Adsense tip to boost clicks *PART TWO*

I was just sitting thinking to myself of all the great comments that you guys had sent me relating to the adsense tip to boost clicks post that I made so thank you.

I have decided to come out with another tip.

Some of you may already know it however some may not and may also be a good one for the newbies out there.

Ok so what is this one going to be?

Right, we all I am sure at once stage complained that are ads were not related to our website right? Or that at least they could be more relevant.

Here is what happens when you adsense ads are displayed, the bots crawl and see what keywords etc your website is using and try and base the ads that are displayed upon the content on your website or blog.

Now here is my tip for the day.

I usually pick a keyphrase for each page of a site. Let me explain the more I relate a page to a particular keyword the more relevant the ads appear on my webpage.

How do I find out how much keywords to put in?

    Through a density checker.

Basically I try and have the keyword density between 4-7% for a keyword.

Heres how to check it out.

Write an article or content that you are going to put on a webpage where you will be placing adsense ads and copy that text and paste it into the website link below and set your keyword.

Along the left it will show you the density %, I do this all the time to make my ads more relevant and it works but remember to stick to between 4-7%.

7% is on the edge of spam. Keeping it at 2 - 4% should be fine.

As a rule of thumb, I've learned it's best not to try and please the search engines, but try and please your user base. Using this "natural SEO," over time your pages will rank more highly. It seems the Google algorithms are tailoring themselves more and more to natural language pages. That means keyword stuffing is paying off less and less. The keys are having a unique identity (keyphrase) for your page, good internal linking structure, refreshing your content regularly, etc. Content is still king.

Surely you're right on this one. I for one completely avoid keyword density. However repeating your phrases a few times (as long as the words make sense in that order) can not hurt you either and may even benefit you, especially with other search engines besides google. It's a matter of choice really.

You really provide us the nice tools. I'll use it to write anything directly on the text box so that I can track the keyword density every time. It's a great one for webmasters. I noted it one my diary. I keep records on my diary only those sites which I believe as useful. I think this is a unique tools.

Definitely. I'm tired of seeing sites with opening paragraphs like.

"Welcome to the Ringtones site for ringtones. On this ringtone site you can find all the ringtones that you are interested in on this ringtone site. Click below to find more ringtones so you can get your ringtones. Oh, and one more thing...Ringtones."

I, for one, just write to get the point across. Please your reader, not the bits that are a search engine.

And just what is THE keyword for a site? People make it sound like there is one particular word that a site is built around. Unfortunately, lately that's become more and more true...witness the latest round of requests in this forum for HPKs

I agree with you there but try to stick to the main keyword 1-2 times in a 500 word article.

Don't need to go over board as google puts you down for keyword stuffing.

If a person creating a page is on the up and up, the keyword density that is achieved by naturally writing about the product should work just fine without having to go in and doing any calculations though.

Calculating density seems like it applies more in a case where someone is trying to prime the pump.
