    is PHPNUKE good?

    and can Vbulliten forums be attached to PHPNUKE?

    and whats a good free photo gallery?

    I like e107 personally.

    Php Fusion is real good too though...

    I think it all depends on the person and what kind of site they hope to acomplish.

    Try out a couple of different ones, and see which one you find best to work with.

    They are all good CMS's, each with their strengths and weaknesses.

    It's hard to say really which one is better.

    I'll add my vote for Joomla/Mambo. For me it's the most polished of the CMS available. There is also a VB bridge available.

    hey does anyone have any sites that use any free portal script and if so can you post yoursite link so i can see

    also what type of forums do you use with your portal? phpbb/vbulliten?

    I use Joomla on here, I'm still finalising the design, but you can get the general idea of what you can do with it.

    I've only done it once before with Mambo and not Joomla. It wasn't too dificult from what I remember. Try searching Google for Joomla VBulletin bridge.
