#3 HIDDEN Google Ranking Secret Technique

OK... so i'm obviously not communicating clearly. Both my two previous gems apparently sound like rubbish. And I'm not even Brittish!

OK so maybe the third time will be the charm.

    Google Ranking Secret #3.

Google actually tracks IP and SESSION USAGE to google clickthroughs to determine ranking and relevance.

SO... If you want to move up in google where ever you are... and all other algorithm factors are equal... then having a HIGHER number of RE CLICK THROUGHS will move you up higher.

Eg. If everyone who Googles "cars" 3x in the same IP session, clicks the #1 link once and the #2 link twice... then #2 will jump up to the #1 spot. So... making sure your link is MORE RECLICKABLE than the rest will boost you up higher.

actually.. yes... this is true BUT

There is another algorithm factor that awards higher rank for SAME IP multiple clicks...

    I'll give you an example...

    I can never spell RESTAURANT

so... i never try to directly type in

    restaurant.com

I always always always go to google and type in

    RESTRANT

Google always say's did you mean... RESTAURANT?

then I just click on RESTAURANT.com

So... from the same IP I click the same google link many times per IP LEASE!

THIS implies HIGHLY RELEVANT.. .if the SAME guy does the same GOOGLE search and clicks the SAME LINK. IT MUST BE RELEVANT!

The thing is, it doesn't matter if you move up in SERPs based on YOUR OWN IP address trending. Who cares if I show up #1 for my own searches based on my IP address? I want to show up on OTHER peoples' searches - THE FIRST TIME.

I hate the idea of Google's personalized search!

You're speaking of this or something like it...

"Bruce says that everybody who does a search will end up with different search results based on their prior search history. Personalization is going to be "web-wide" using third party cookies and things."

why are people believing him? it's obviously just made-up. I'm sure google might change positions around and see which sites perform better - and them permanently move them, but just clicking your link in google is NOT going to improve your rankings!

It's rubbish because although it sounds relevant, it's too open to abuse. Google aren't that naive. They'd probably filter out spam clicks, so with the same IP sounds totally unlikely.
