My business-website concept

    Hey guys,

    I've completed my new website, a small business website where users can set up their business website.

    The concept is simple; users with no programming/designing experience register at my website, add content to their account, select a layout and their website is finished. The accounts are free, although a small banner will be integrated in the layout.

    My questions are;
    - Should I allow linkbuildersites on my webservice? For example, business-web.org /DanaRankin has a small site with useless information and a page with 50 links directing to all of her referral accounts. Would I receive a small income from the ads on their account, or is the account worthless to me?

    - Should I keep the service free?

    - I would like to add a 'shop basket' functionality to the accounts, so they can set up a real business website. However, I don't want to be in the center of the financial transaction. The information must be send directly to the owner of the account. What would be the best way to do that?

    tnx for the help!

    Casper

    oh and one other thing which is more a linkbuilding question;
    I've added my website to about 100 directories, mentioned it on about 15 discussion forums, and bought $50 adwords. What should I do more? thx

    I wouldn't give address under my domain to people who use it for web spamming purpose, because it will lower my sites trust rank

    I would do service free from beginning and later as it gets more popular I would make it pay service.

    Well this site is a good idea - i guess you will be successful as long as you offer QUALITY - no need for free service i think. I havent seen a site that would specialize in easy business website building yet.

    Concerning promotion: do a decent mix of different tecniques, that has the highes added value and you wont burn money in one scammy service (as not being tricked as a beginner is rather a rarity today).

    I would say paid service from the start could not be so good, because having free service you will get much bugs tested, etc. and also you attract first customers that will help you later to attract more customers to paid service.
    Because if you have only paid service and no customers, new customers will hardly join you.

    thx guys, I'm already implementing some new barriers to make it less attractive for linkfarm-builders. I'll add the NOFOLLOW attribute to foreign links, and I'll replace foreign links with

    Which gets rid of the googlespamming.

    I'll keep this service free to gain pagerank and quality content. I'll add an addless premium account service in the future.

    Any more suggestions? :)
