    Hi all,

I have finished a website that works for everyone after extensive testing except I had one report from someone saying the site would close down and an error message would say "please refer to your windows professional"

I've never even heard of that.. could it be an issue with their OS..?

Be easier if they could give you the full and correct error message.

Any chance you are using some MS word generated code on the site in question?

kinda sorta sounds like their local system is trying to access an external application maybe

Thanks mate, I''ve just asked them for specific error message text. Good ideas though and will look into it!

Sounds to me like there's a security setting preventing the script from running. It depends what platform he's coding on. If it's an applet, then yeah, it's possible that the network settings prevent certain form of applets fom loading and refers users to the network administrator(s).
