    Forum posting / Directory submission / Article submission /Blog Posting.

    I personally think article submission has the most impact on SERP's, directory submissions is loosing its power unles you get accepted in the Yahoo Directory or DMOZ. Forum posting is very sucesful for niche traffic, blog posting can also be affective if you get blog posts in high PR niche related blogs.
