    Hello Everyone,

I was shocked to see this... I had page impressions of about 200+ and the number of clicks were 'NIL'.
This isn't much of what should be happening? I don't understand! Is something wrong? Am I banned? I verified with a friend the showing of ads and it does show.

    Please help! Thank you.

Do you usually average a certain amount of clicks? Do you know where the traffic came from? You might be getting low converting traffic

Well, lets say, its a low converting traffic. But 'low'! I've got like nil clicks at all. Most of the Traffic is from Yahoo!

I don't know how this can happen. Very depressing

Now your making me feel bad :D I have some pages that can get to 1000 impressions before getting a click and I think the ads are in the right spots just not enticing enough or targeted well enough quite yet.

    Good luck!

If the ads are showing (at your figures) then either they're badly positioned, the traffic is off target, or both.

    Sometimes it happens.

Well, AndyG. I got like 70+ clicks 2 days back. And 'Nil' today, there has been no change in the positioning of the ads. Just changed the color of the text as it was starting to sound monotonous and boring. This is so unusual.

John Loch, well - With the same positioning was I getting not less than 70+ clicks a day, if it ought to be the positioning. And No, I don't see any 'public service ads' either.

Yes in your situation, that is strange and I hope it gets better. Try changing the color of the text back perhaps. *laugh* ;)

Well, honestly - the change in color was to recover myself from the shock to see if it helps. Otherwise, I don't know. Well, is this usual? Because I haven't faced a situation like this, 'EVER'!

just test your adsense by placing them on any part of your site and observe it for 5 to 10 days and study the result

It could just be bad luck that people aren't clicking today.

Kawebsy, Is that to check whether there is any CTR, right? I don't see how it would improve my click rate. I've done this experiment of placing ads at different positions, and the current positions are the best to my knowledge. I do have ads integrated into the articles. And even if my homepage doesn't get any clicks, but my articles should get some, more than 50 articles were read yesterday, and not a single click?

What is your usual average? How many impressions do you normally need to convert a click?

Jack Burton, I need a maximum of 30 page impressions before I get off the mark. Its like 10 fold already, and yet no stone moved. Surprising!

If it is happening only today then it is early to worry and draw conclusions

mhamdi, well - I'm not worried. Just a little surprised, and hope it recovers soon. Well, feels like the overnight Stock Market Crash. Not that the site was that big or anything. Or, maybe you're right. I'm a little worried.

Let it run for a week and see how it goes. Some days are better than others, and vice versa. There's no use getting panicky over what's happened or didn't happen in a day's time.

Yes, I hear what you're saying. Let it give it sometime and then, decide to what is up with it. Meanwhile going to skim all the analytic tools and get to the bottom of this.
    Thanks, pal.

If most of your page impressions are from returning visitors only, it could be they are now blind to the ads.
