In England we have the Full English. Bacon, Sausages, Beans, Black Pudding, Eggs, Toast, Mushrooms and Tomatoes
Steak and Salmon But if you live on the west coast like a lot of us, then Sushi but that's not really local food
In Scotland we have a few "native" foods which you don't see anywhere else. Haggis is probably the most famous, and is sheeps heart, liver and sometimes lungs, mixed with oatmeal, onions, suet and whatever else you have lying around, boiled in the stomach lining. Like most Scottish foods, it sounds absolutely disgusting but tastes wonderful. Porridge, which is more well known, is Scottish and tastes awesome. Real easy to make too. Another less known one is the Deep Fried Mars Bar, which can be bought from any decent chip shop and is a mars bar, battered and then deep fried. Again, it sounds disgusting but tastes amazing.
I LOVE HAGGIS! It's nearly impossible to get in Canada though Most of the pubs and a few restaurants will make it on St. Patricks Day, but for the most part you need a scottish friend who knows who to make it. People are so disgusted by it, but it actually tastes really good
Sheeps Heart mixed with oatmeal, are you serious? How does that taste? I like our Chinese food, and Pizza. Of course, I gotta have the All American hot wings.
Skippy go yums yums. Luckily I don't eat meat. So I don't have to partake. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kangaroo_meat
