A: I purchased the domain name on October 19, 2008 and customized a WordPress Theme until Nov 1, when I launched and started writing articles. It has also had 1 $26.00 affiliate sale through a Commission Junction publisher.

Q: Is the site automated?
A: Yes & No - It uses a WP Plugin to fetch RSS feeds, as well as several unique articles written by myself.

Q: Is it an original design?
A: It is a bought Revolution WordPress Theme THAT I HAVE CUSTOMIZED.

Q: What would be a reasonable starting bid?
A: Considering the potential, no Trademark issues, and genericness of the name, I'm seeking 4 years rev. I WON'T SAY NO TO 5 YEARS REV.

Q: Would you transfer the site over to the winner?
A: Yes. All graphics and the complete database (including articles, users, comments) can be transferred to the owner.

 

Little Advice: The standard is 6-12 months revenue; so good luck seeking 4-5 years

 

Maybe for a TRADEMARK - It is what it is - if your not happy, move on and keep your comments to yourself - or post an offer.

I see TRADEMARK domains for sale all the time asking 4 years rev. So whats wrong with my generic term asking minimum 4 years?

It's not about the website 'could' make, it's about what the website 'does' make.

From your stats, everyone can see that the traffic peaked in November for a couple of days, more than 4x some of the current hits.

Only a fool would purchase a site based on 4-5 years projected revenue with only 2 monthly proof of revenue.

With only 2 months proof of revenue, about 6 months revenue is my recommendation

It'll also be beneficial to post a screenshot of the day to day adsense earnings to gain a better picture of where the site is at now.

IF I HAD SIX MONTHS STATS, I'D SHOW THEM.

THE INCOME AND VISITS WILL ONLY RISE DURING TAX SEASON.

THE SITE HAS DONE AS WELL AS $10/DAY - THE AVERAGE IS $4.25.

I agree the bids you've gotten aren't even worth considering with the current state of the revenue, but to be asking 4/5 years revenue is also a joke...
