The 160 x 600 works extremely well as long is the page is not inundated with other ads OR to many options for the reader to choose. My sig has an example of the placement the work best for me, BUT that particular site itself has alot of other direction for a visitor to go because of the service we offer, the result being income for service and not alot of income from adsense......not complaining though. The PPC is indeed the most challenging to profit from (with adsense) but if you find the right keywords at 0.5 cents a click, it can bring you ton of visitors. By far the greatest success I have had with adsense is due to search engine traffic. Some days have been almost 100% search engine traffic. Works for me...
What I Think Is PPC Traffic Source is Not Legit For Adsense? M i Right? PPC Traffic Is Not Allowed For Adsense...
PPC is a perfectly legitimate way to drive traffic to your site. However, I try not to pay anymore then .05 cents a click... not an easy task, but when you find the write keywords it works well. Even .05 cents is to much if your Adsense clicks are excessively less then .50 cents. All my sites are service based or informational My sig has a link to one site..
30 day - $500.00 Adsense Formula - What formula are you talking about? I can't see a formula in your post. The only formula you provide here is how to get some attention on a webmasters forum.
Nice work, Anyone can get these results if they put in the effort, @SaurabhMit: congrats on destorying a good post instead of adding to it, really great work @everyone: just ignore Saurabhmit's post. There's a great saying "I can Do it, I Can't Do it, both are true" When you come to understand that, we'll your on your path to riches.
What was so great about this post? The magic formula of 'more traffic = more impressions = more clicks'
whats so good about it? and what about the "formula". There is no such "formula" for adsense. If you dont like the post or want to ignore it, then why care responding to it?
Well congrats on your achievement, but the point is that its the NICHE that matters the most. p.s. Is your website, by any chance a forum. Because I've a forum, with great traffic but very bad CTR.
I have not explored forums but have a good plan laid out for one.. I couldn't agree more.....Niche + Page Design..... Also something to consider: My best performing pages, have a VERY basic layout. A well optimized page of content that really supports the ads without a whole lot of other options for the visitor to choose....They either click the back button or click an ad. If the content is strongly related to the ads that you are showing, you have a higher probability that the visitor will click the ads which increases your CTR. My simplest websites out perform "BY FAR", my sites that have many other options for a visitor to choose. Of course these pages need a good niche and to be showing well in the serp to be getting you the clicks. If you have that and the page gets any kind of rank of more then 2, you will be smokin...Sometimes one simple page can bring in between $5 - $9 on a busy day, (mainly from search engines).
congrats man... , well as far as i know that studies say 300*250 ad is most clicked one... so hope you have it or add one on every page....good luck
