GEO - Traffic monetizing by country based.... anyone?

    Hey everybody,

    I wonder if maybe someone could share some good GEO Traffic monetizing by country script.. basically what I'm looking is :


    When someone from US come to my page Button 'X' will send to 'Link USA'
    When someone from UK comes to my page the same Button 'X' will send him to 'Link UK'
    someone from Canada to 'Link Canada'
    and someone from all over the world, will send him to 'Link Rest of the world'


    Button 'X' means that it has to be the same button, just linking to different places depends on the country of the person who views the page... :)


    Anyone got any kind of script like this? or know where I could download one?

    I doubt you can find a script that does exactly what you need.

    First of all, to identify where user comes from, you'd have to map their location from their IP address. There are quite a few sources out there that provide the database that does such mapping. e.g.: maxmind.com, ip2location.com. Due to the dynamic nature of IP addresses, none of these service providers can guarantee 100% accuracy, and for improved accuracy you also need to subscribe to their service (for a fee).

    After you know (or at least guess) where they come from, customising your script to display different buttons should be a simple task.

    Big0ne hit the spot just set a cron job to download the new database monthly to keep your list fresh,.
