    Hi all,

I have one dout and was hoping if some1 could explaim me...

you see astore as itselft (I mean astore.amazom.com/id-number) it is very dificult to get backlinks, as web directories and article directories dosent allow to submit them.

So I was suggested to pu embed to a website, I was doing that, but then I realize that it is a emebed function, and by that how will SE find the content of the website and how will it be index?

can some1 pls. help me on this.

    thanks in advance

Amazon provides you with some coding which allows you to embed the aStore on your website, the big G will not find your website unless you have content outside this frame, Google may only show this one page in their results.

    Some ideas..
Maybe creating a separate page on your website with the astore frame.
Write reviews for products and slip in an Amazon link.
Amazon provide widgets that can easily be incorporated to your blog/site.
Create a good looking store for a particular niche..

There a few amazon store builders available which have had good results.. i'm in the progress of setting one up myself :)

hey tkx that would help :)
by the way do you know any mod for that so the url is more seo friendly as well the the page itself (like meta tags, title, etc)

writing review is a good idea, but I prefer having a store on my website :)
and hey pls. do share your website/store when you finish :)

Do you mean the astore url? I know you can configure the layout with css in your Associate admin area but you can't change the url, Not sure about the meta tags or title.. only seen the admin section once lol.. astores arn't my thing, rather have a "complete" store on my host... another store builder is AOM

Will keep you informed about my store, i will be offering a service on DP for custom shop design.. in the mean while.. back to the drawing board :D

You have 2 options...register a domain, and redirect it to your astore, or embed. Without any content , you will not get any love from Google anyway...they are not going to love you better than the main site where your store is fed from.

A stand alone astore, unless it is on a great domain, will not be indexed enough for you to get traffic just by posting it up.

An astore is just products. It's a store. SE's are driven by content, information, words. No content, no love.

If you are serious about making an astore work, then put it on a blog where you can offer some interesting and original content to back it up.

How could an aStore be integrated on a blog? I think this idea is pretty good but I believe it would not be a store any longer on a wordpress blog for example.

You may customize aStore css to fit your homepage with inline iframe.

    Here are a few examples:

    http://www.124bpms.com/store/

    http://www.themansfieldherald.com/book-store/

    http://www.midnightfunkassociation.com/cd-store/

An aStore in a blog is the best way to go. A stand alone aStore is a waste of time to me. You can't optimize without content and you can't add content to an aStore by itself.

You can do it. I had mine embedded on a Blogger blog a while back and it did pretty well.
