how to know where you stand in search engines?

    how can you know where you stand in your selected keywords when searched through search engines?

    just type the keywords and find your site where it is????? any other ways to do this?:)

    We use iBusiness Promoter. There's a free edition where I think you can check rankings on 10 keywords on one search engine at a time. If you want to do more, you can purchase the product. Their website is ibusinesspromoter.com.

    If its only one or two keywords then you can use one of the tools mentioned above. After carrying out tons of research I couldn't find a decent tool that measured ALL my keywords for specific campaigns so as much as I DIDN'T want to spend any money I had to. I bought a copy of SEO Elite and although I havent found anything else useful, the rankings feature is fantastic. It gives you a graph of keywords, current ranking etc. Its quite a good tool for this. Its quite pricey but def worth the money IMO.

    use your keywords to search using google. Then look for your blog. this is more accurate like seoservicesvs said. :) Good luck.

    I use geoseo.com to check worldwide serps in G Y and M, the result is very accurate

    Any tool not gives the accurate results.

    If you have your site API you can, but presently Google stopped to give the API's.

    So, it is better to manual search for correct position.

    ooh! there are many softwares, search in google for "keyword rank checker" and u will get many.
    well is u want to see a rough look than u can even look them in google webmaster tools in top search queries, u might be familier with this one! :)

    Sarahsienna...Is right..Google have banned auto queries..So if google consider that you are spamming then you will never get on any ranking ..So go with Manual..:)
