This is definitely above and beyond! I wish you all the best and as soon as I get more paypal orders this month I will send a few bucks to help out. At the risk of sounding like a d*ck, why would you want to help bail someone out from their own greed? Sounds a nice plan, take on a partnership where you don't have to do any real work. The whole plan stunk from the start, even from the way the prices were quoted for jobs you could see it was amateur hour. Who seriously quotes SEO on the number of search results?

All you should be looking at are the strength of the top 10, everything else is just noise. And absolutely no consideration was paid to

• Domain Age
• Niche
• Backlinks
• SEO work already done

4 major issues, yet all totally ignored.

I do feel bad for Col, but he went for the easy dollar and it blew up in his face. Now he's being forced to pay it back, with that amount of fraud he's looking at a 5 stretch in prison if he didn't, which is something everyone completely overlooks. Then you have the whole issue of so much money wired to Syria or wherever, I hear Gauntanamo is nice at this time of year...

Don't get me wrong, King_of_Kings takes 75% of the blame. Col can have 15% and Gareth Boyd wins the last 10% for not blowing the whistle on K of K being a scammer from the start...

It is definitely commendable that he refunded a few and is still at it, greedy or not. We all have our conspiracy theories, but we should give Col the benefit of the doubt and maybe a few spare dollars. He is definitely way above that Syrian d*cksucker.

 

I don't think so! It would have changed very little. You have no idea how much of a smooth talker this guy was!

 

If someone will scam small then they will scam big. I would not trust someone for a $300 job if they previously ripped someone off for $30, or $3. It shows they have no morals.

lol,, i've been scammed multiple times on this forum alone - its a haven for scammers, given that even when scammers are outed mods do absolutely nothing about it. I know it wouldnt have helped in your case, but really the forum needs a scambuster mod, to clear out the members who scam and ban them for good.

 

i really haven't lost anything here and its nice to see Cheap Seo making an honest effort to reclaim his status.

 

mmm just read part of this thread and I must say wow.... this was certainly a scary ride ... I feel for all the people who lost money and those involved in this thing....

Well he's either going to lie, or he's going to tell the truth. Unless he gives you his paypal password you aren't going to know which, so how is wasting his time by printing out screenshots going to help you?

Why on earth would I give anyone my Paypal password or give screenshots of my Paypal account? Some of the clients refunded have said they have been refunded in this thread. Others have not, but that is their choice, even after me asking to do so. Either way, it is up the each client if he/she/them want to declare they have been refunded or not.

The donations have nothing to do with providing proof to anyone. I have received many donations and am very grateful for that. However, some will declare they have donated and others do so silently. Again, it is their choice in regards to that decision.

Only the clients and myself will know what transactions take place and have taken place. That is the way it will be and will always be. If any of YOU don't like that arrangement then that's YOUR choice of attitude.

Now! I have PM'ed builtcj7 for him to reply with a transaction id and a valid PP id so I can refund him. This was done days ago. When he does, and I refund him, it will be duly noted in this thread and the list will be updated and I will ask him to comment in this thread. That's the best I can offer anyone.
