Satellite TV for PC - Your Thoughts?

It's a hugely popular product, in fact, it's one of top products of Clickbank and it has been on top for loooooong time.

    Over 300 gravity, $30+ commission.

Looks like a great product to promote. I haven't been in this TV niche before, so what's your thoughts/recommendations about this product?

    P.S. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For me it had a lot of refunds just because 90% of the channels it shows aren't even worth watching and are not in english.

I made a lot of money out of it ages ago. It used to be the highest grav product on CB.

I think EZA banned any articles promoting this. Not sure about Google.

Its a totally shit product of course. I love the way they autoplay some hollywood movie on the sales page :D

Made a few sales, but nothing too big ( ~ 40 sales in a few weeks ) ..
The only way to promote it is to use PPC ( AdWords ) as you will need to pay very small amount as it converts very well ( 1 sale on each 1.50$ spent on it )

It's so strange. Looking at the gravity of the product, you can say almost for sure, that it converts, but when it comes to promoting the product, things go wrong....

So far, I've sent them laser-targeted 100+ hops via PPC, and no sales. I will probably go for 200 hops, and if no sale, then I will move to another product...

Send more traffic - aim for 1k minimum :) I have promoted products where i didn't get jack for sales at first then BAM they started flowing in. Also depends on the # of keywords your promoting, if you can afford try to run 200 clicks per keywords, if not 500 - gives u a better idea of that specific keywords effectiveness.

Never had too much success with it, although I think I sold a few copies a couple of years ago.

I have one of these going through PDC - check IP*tu*ber*.com (remove *). Was one of my first niches as an aff then pub. Truth be told it's no different re the risk level as MMO/FX/IM. They are hard to promote but can be lucrative if you find a safe channel(s) and alternative means of marketing (one of my affs goes through a print campaign to his own domain lander and does well actually)...

Thanks for the reminder Norb. That is actually an avenue for advertising I had considered a while back and then totally forgot about :D

I really don't like this niche much. Ezinearticles does not allow articles I this niche at all, plus the product is completely terrible. Almost everyone seems to refund it. I think you can do better by promoting a product that is of high quality and converts well. If you look for a while, you'll find the right product.

Don't you think that's a bit unethical, promoting a product that you know is "totally shit"?

I think that all make money products and forex robots are total shit too. But I can sleep well at night because the fools who buy these things are entitled to a no quibble 60 day money back guarantee. If someone is dumb enough not to use it then its not my problem, its theirs. At least I never sold them a mortgage at 5x salary that I never knew they could not afford or preside over a government with outrageous lending in the economy. I think there are many people in this world who are way in front of me for having bad ethics.

As you can see, I totally agree with your signature and in general I stay away from such products, not just from an ethical point of view, but mainly because those markets are saturated.

btw in terms of refunds that people are worried about, the vendor still has a total$/sale of $33.84. that figure takes refunds into account. so it is not bad.

In fact I even calculated refund rate and it works out to less than 1%. Pretty damn good.
