Unrelated Ads

    Hey,
Today is the first day of using adsense. I'm using it with my forum, which is a teen lifestyle/fashion and music forum.
The problem is, the ads are for cat food, or IT reports, completely unrelated?
I'm pretty sure I've not done something correctly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards.

Check your meta tags (keyword, site description). Also, make sure you content is keyword rich.

I've changed the vbulletin metatags, should it update the ads immediately or is it a couple of days?

They aren't going to show up immediately as google still has to scan your content so give it a few days.

Forums is known for unconverted visitors. You better play with adsense location on your sites. Try to alternate your ads placement.
