I'm overwhelmed – sooo much information out there!!

OK so I have joined Jeff Johnsons underground training lab - I registered last night even though membership has officially closed. I still had a window open that was awaiting payment as I have been sitting on the fence.

But I've decided to go ahead with it... why....because I need structure and support... hopefully it pays off.

I'm currently a little bit overwhelmed! I have til the end of the Jan'09 to pay back my parents roughly $15,000. As it stands today - I probably have 10% of that and about 30 days to get the rest it for them (I made a promise and I want to stick to my word)

I know everybody tells me that it’s too much money and it’s unachievable or unrealistic to pay them back in 30 days. (Espeacially when I've been working flat out, 7 days a week as a physio for the last 2 months and still not making enough to pay them back - I have saved about $1500!!!)

But I'm very positive and I've been doing a lot of reading and research.... plus - I also have been working very hard on a web-based physio/online gym service that I want to launch and I believe it’s my answer to paying them back.

I've done alot of reading and research but none if it seems actionable in the sense of how I launch it (I'm not getting stuff done) and I need help or advice - I've looked around and like I said I'm overwhelmed – sooo much information out there!!

I'm feeling overwhelmed by all the information, I just want to get things done and get results. Like I said I only have 30days.

I would be stoked to get some advice so I can move forward, please :)
    Have a merry xmas guys.

    Regards,
    Joshua Iaquinto

    Josh,

I think you're going to have to talk with your parents and working something out. I don't know about this Jeff Johnson program, so I cannot really make a comment on it, and he seems relatively legit form his website.

But I worry that you might be doing this out of desperation because it can take months before you begin to make money online. People can pull in the kind of money he's taking about within as a little as 7 days, yes, but not until after he's set up his business and drawn traffic, and that can take years to make the kind of money he's making.

If you're set on doing what he's doing, then follow his every step to the tea, but it takes time to draw customers. They will not just appear out of thin air.

My only other recommendation is that you choose a niche that does not involve making money online because if you're looking to seek profits faster. Choose health, weight loss, movies, something.

I wish you luck, but I do think your goal is a bit aggressive.

    I agree with Augra.

I think it will take you much longer than 30 days to earn such an amount. It takes time, much effort and hard work to acheive what you strive for.

But anyhow, believe in what you do and never give up. And don't listen to people who don't think you can make it :)

Uhhh, what kind of parents gives a son 30 days?

Are they going to have your legs broke if you don't meet the deadline?

    1. Write down your goals

    2. Divide them into long term and short term goals

    3. Take action ... most people have "big Plans" but they never take action

All above sounds obvious but most people do not do it ... good luck with your debt pay off

Wow, thanks for the replies - Some supportive, some unconvinced and some just confused.

My parents aren't gonna break my legs, nor anything tragic going to happen me,

However I did make a promise that I would have the money to pay them back at the end of January.

I want to stick to what I said I would do.

By the way - I just lost $1000 in phone bills. Some bank balance is at $60

Really putting myself under the pump - but as of tomorrow I will have exactly 1 month to come up with $15,000

This is going to be massive month :)

I'm excited and anxious but if plan smart I can get this done.

I just sent an email to my closet friends and family (about 8 people) to support me (not financially) but to help get the word out about the launch at the end of the month. Hopefully they can help...a bit.

alright better get back to work :D

It does seem like a BHAG but go for it and if you can get to 15k in 1 month then fantastic. The most valid point to understand is how to break this down in pieces, eating the elephant one bite at a time. I always worry when a goal is purely monetary and not a combination of goals. You need to decide what key goals you must reach to hit 15k i.e brand building, flyer designed and posted to x amount of potential clients, Viral marketing campaign created. First week need to have x bums on seats increasing to xy by second week. At least then you can really monitor progress and act accordingly

Bit off-topic: what will your parents do if you don't pay back in time? :)

You could definitely make a lot in one month selling knockoffs or replicas on ebay. Be prepared to burn through several accounts. Event if you could only make 5-7k a month you'd have your parents paid back quickly. It could work.

You need a supplier from china and you need to know how to create new ebay acounts. Check out aspkin.com

    Good luck

Hey, I wish you the best, but if you're not already making money online, it's highly doubtful that you'll be able to come up with $15,000 in a month.

Not because it's impossible, but because the learning curve with selling online almost always involves a lot of trial and error. Even if you were working like a madman the whole time, someone new to this is still going to make mistakes that hold back their progress (and their profits).

If Jeff Johnson's program involves personal coaching, then that may help some, but...I'd say do as much as you can. Hey, even if you only make $5,000 and have to pay the rest back later, you'll still be FAR ahead of most newbies.

My piece of advice would be that if you're going to go with Jeff Johnson's stuff, make sure you stick with JUST his stuff until you're seeing results, because nothing will sink you faster than jumping around from program to program.

Thanks for the knock-offs offer but I want to do this legit! No dodgy stuff.

Pure hardwork, having a great product to promote and building an excellent list by the looks of things.

eek, too much shady suggestions here. You may or may not be able to pay your parents back. There is no "get rich quick" solution and still be able to feel good about yourself after your done. All you can do is continue to work hard, stay focused, and hopefully show your parents that you are serious about getting them their money.

    Hi
I admire your spirit tremendously, it takes real drive and determination to do this.
I have looked at Jeff Johnson, interesting. I will be pleased to know how you go with it.
I admit I am one of the terrible who jump around all over the place, learning lots of different things, I think I'm addicted to that, refiring the neurons-plasticity speaking. It's all great fun.
I am now try to stick with just one at the moment.
    So good luck.
    Sorry can't help more.
