So I did forget an ending date.

    Okay, two things:
    1. BIN is now $75
    2. Auction ends at BIN met or 7 days from now.

The whois is easy enough to find out .... which has the registrant info.

However, I'd be interested in Chris' question about the advertising, and murph's about the license.

Thanks - looking forward to more info ... I don't think I've seen a project by iowadawg I didn't like - keep it up, Joe!

Free version of phpld, so no license or fees.

The featured ads have to stay on the site.
The sponsored ads are mine and can be removed if so desired.

Registered at namecheap (same as the first post).
    I own it of course.

If no one takes it at BIN, can gladly keep it in my stable of directories.

Thank you wrmineo, I only sell my good sites (have some bad sites that I would love to unload...eg some mfa sites and 2 sites that sell particular ebooks).

Now someone take this today for BIN so I can move on to another project of mine that will be a bit time consuming.

When you say featured ad, I assume you mean the "Featured Links" ... ?

I think was Chris was asking, or at least what I'm also curious about, is are these (featured links) permanent placement or do they have an expiry, e.g. one year from submission/payment?

As always, I look forward to your next project ;)

He's saying the "TIP Sponsors" are his and can be removed. The category featured listings are permanent and must remain.

    Yes, mystikmedia is correct.
The featured ads (links) are permanent and have to stay.
THe TIP SPONSOR ads on the right hand side box can be removed.

    Okay, why an auction?
Seems just about every sale here is the same, or have you not noticed?
If I went pure auction, someone would immediately jump in and want me to put in a BIN.
So I saved someone the trouble.

BIN is $75, but (the big but as usual! LOL), if at the end of this, no one buys at BIN and I feel the high bid is good, then the high bidder can get it.
You know, something like at ebay, where you start off with a buy it now price, but once someone starts bidding, it disappears.

On another note, anyone want a nice piece of software to create your own links pages? Like this page: http://www.dawgwitch.com/link
    Sell cheaply.
See how I can seque from an auction to selling software? LOL
