Dude, I thought that as well. Never clicked an ad, EVER. 95% USA traffic, targetted ads from health niche, I don't know what is going on.

I would call up and talk to them. I would see exactly why the banned you and what you could do to avoid being banned again. Once they go public you can signup again. Once you get that info come back here and tell us because I'm sure everyone would love to know. lol

As or me, I'm not stupid enough to click on my own ads, and have played by the rules. I was banned today. I talked to Eva, she said it was from low conversion. No warnings, no recommendations, just booted as of 5pm Monday. I have to wonder if they are trying to dump the money makers, and target publishers who won't make the $100.

I'm making way over that but I've herd nothing so far. I'm not worried about it though. If worst comes to worst I will use google until MSN opens their doors.

I'm probably in the top 1% of publishers as far as earnings....been in since early December but haven't gotten the boot yet.

This is apparently "ban time" over at YPN. They always do it in bulk, so it's time to bite my nails for the next week.

I got kicked out also. Not for low conversions though.

When I called them up they said it was for "hacking" content.

What was the "hacking" content? On one of my blogs I was talking about how Yahoo Serps were indexing webglimpse exploit/html injection pages much moreso that G or MSN.

I didn't explain how people do it, provide any screenshots of anything, or whatever. I was just blogging about search and who was indexing injected spam pages, and it happened to be Yahoo.

    Haha whatever. Back to Adsense.

From a users perspective Adsense is much more relevant to content and much better for long term brand loyalty than YPN's off target adds anyhow.

What advertisers in CPC programs fail to realize is that the majority of people are not going to buy something on a site on the first visit. CPC campaigns are more about getting your site good exposure so when someone actually wants a product you're selling they'll remember your site and visit. It's like TV ads, if see an ad for something long enough you'll get curious and buy it the next time you're in the grocery store.

They want to keep their advertisers, if they don't keep them by banning some people off, then no one will make any money.

Your point is valid, but I personally think that the YPN folks take the "oh, I'm just shopping around" clicks into consideration.

It think that the YPN team has some smart and experienced people running the show, and I think that they terminate accounts only after careful consideration.

The YPN folks have to draw the line somewhere, or else continued low conversions will result in advertisers getting fed up and dropping out.

Of course, I don't work for YPN, so it's all just IMO.

There should be a better solution than just boot a person becasue of low conversions. They should disable based on sites and not whole accounts.

If you are making $125,000 per week with AdSense--as indicated in your SIG--then you are TRULY BLESSED and you should probably stick with AdSense.
