I have recently started up a new website, www.TheBlogExchange.com! At the moment its got no users, in fact I only launched it about 30 seconds ago The idea of the site is that people who want to sell their blogs can list them on there and hopefully find a buyer. Its an eBay for blogs! I need some sellers to get the website going by putting their blogs on there. It usually costs $2 for a standard listing but I'm willing to give everyone at DP a voucher so that you can list them for free, for life! - If you don't sell your blog, you don't lose any money - its a win-win situation! You have to forefit 10% of the selling price if your blog sells, but you can factor that in to the selling price when you list it! UPDATE: I have removed the voucher code! It is now free for anyone to register their blogs for sale! And yes, you can sell any type of blog on there, aslong as you know how to transfer it to the new owner! As for where the idea came from, it came out of my own head!
The only criticism I can offer is wether or not there is a demand for it - couldnt find any keywords for this topic - but I am not an exdpert, so forgive me if Im way over obvious or dumb good lukc -nice layout - hope it goes well for you
Thanks for the support I really hope there is demand Its just a case of getting people to buy and sell blogs on it! I don't expect the demand to be huge because the blog marketplace is very niche, but I'm hoping it is big enough to make transactions on a regualar basis.
Hmmm... good point. Personally, I would use a keyword tool and look for what people ARE looking for. For instance... there are less than 30 searches done for "buy blogs" but... there are 12,100 searches for "create a blog". If people are looking for directions on how to MAKE a blog, MAYBE they'd be interested in BUYING one? Maybe? Thanks for your support guys. I looked into the keywords and found that 'sell blogs' has 3600 so I'm happy with that for now But a transaction has to have a buyer and not just a seller so I'll think about what you said Cj; people buying a blog rather than making one

There is not much I can comment on the design. Just that I would recommend you to focus on SEO of your site and perhaps hire a coder to design non-default layout of the site. There is another that been created for selling/buying proxies at www.proxymarket.net but nevertheless, the owner did not do enough promotion or seems not getting much demand as competition is strong from other forums especially Sitepoint. Another suggestions for your domain is to use something like this. >> www.buysellblog.net (available at the time I'm writing this) It has the keyword that is good for your site.
