He finally got his wish. They tried to do it covertly with the "hannity's america" show. But now Fixed News has completely dropped the veil and are turning the somewhat fair and balanced Hannity & Colmes show into a full on hour long propaganda piece. Nice....

I guess in all fairness Fixed Noise needed a show to counter the liberal left showcase show Countdown with Keith Olbermann.

That begs the question though. If your goal is to be the complete opposite of the liberal left. Does that make you "fair and balanced" or just the opposite end of the spectrum?

I think the fair and balanced portion they spout is the "news", not the commentary. That is the difference. MSNBC and CNN tend to recite an agenda, rather than report the news. Don't confuse a political talk show with news. There IS a difference between those reporting news, and the little left/right talk shows that each of the respective cable networks has on.

Its pretty evident that MSNBCs goal is and has been to spout liberal rhetoric and bitch, not report the news. All one has to do is watch any of the shows on MSNBC, not just the soap box shows.

I like Alan Colmes personally, he was funny and charming. It was quite clear he was the token liberal on Fox, Murdoch I think admitted in a press conference he was the "balancing force" that made it all Fair and Balanced.

I think Alan had to learn to be humble on Fox because of Sean's dominating position on the show, and because of that I think he's an interesting character.

I'm SO glad Colmes is out of there. He was beginning to be dead weight. You can only be the token Dem 'devil's advocate' for so long without getting to be annoying. People watch Seam Hannity for conservative commentary, not Alan Colmes whining about whatever.

That's what MSNBC is for :-P

i think he was just a puppet on that show he never made really a point to get through and always sounded insecure and not knowing what he was talking about it was just to show off about sean being right and making the left (colmes) shut up .

They're both a pair of idiots, Colmes was a fake Dem and Hannity is just a complete utter dweeb.

Pretty smart guy for a "dweeb".

I like the fact he is not one of these career students. Nice to know he actually worked real jobs, struggled and made something of himself despite dropping out of college.

    ^ From wikipedia

I've listened to his radio show and he does not sound inept. He's certainly not insignificant. His contributions to the medium he works in are quite significant in fact. For a dude, I can't see he's unattractive. Colmes looks to fit the "Dweeb" definition better IMO.

I always thought Colmes was the "dweeb" by design. He was always politely mumbling to himself while Hannity was shouting at him. Insignificance was his cast type. If you agree with Hannity he must seem like a real Maverick (just love that word) if not he pretty much comes across as an asshole who purposefully misinterprets pretty much everything to fit his spin. Hell I know I only watched it to see what off the wall shit Hannity was gonna say.

Same as Bill O'Reilly mate, both of them are hopeless, utterly biased towards their own spin.

    Thank GOD!

Let me put it this way, if they were both in Prison (Sean and Alan), I bet most of you can guess who would be the girl in their prison relationship?

Point being, Colmes was always a drag, and was in no way, shape, or form an "Alpha" speaker - Hannity always gets the first, middle, and last word. No matter where you sit politically, I think the show will be better without him, because honestly, I sometimes get embarrassed by his complete and utter lack of confidence and control.

Should be interesting to see what happens now. I'm also looking forward to Glen Beck on Fox News - now that will be fun.
