The site has a nice theme but I think it would look better if you added a logo and some graphics into the header.
One of the better blogs I've seen, lots of good content, links, products. There is definitely a lot of money making potential here as long as the niche is right. The one change I would make is get a professional logo. Other than that well done.
In general its good and pleasing however Im thinking a more "in your face" header such as "Why Aikido can save you from a life of pain" just an example - to draw people in.. I do think this needs addressing somewhat - otherwise, nice.
Wow, folks! Thank you for the ideas about the header and logo! I hadn't even thought of that, largely because the way WP fills in the blog name and subtitle I THOUGHT was kind of an elegant touch, in this case. But apparently that isn't the case! I am SO glad I came to the forum and asked for your advice! You guys rock! Any other thoughts?

Agree on the header and logo. Also, the store layout I think needs improvement on some of the alignment for the different products. Otherwise, the others look good to me
Hmmm... could you elaborate a little bit? I went an looked at the store page, and everything seems to fit. Was it just an aesthetic issue for you or were you seeing some coding errors--or--? I even went to IE (which I HATE) and checked the site again, but still didn't find any problems with the store... Thanks for the input! ~cj *EDIT* hmmm, I went and looked one more time... are you referring to the individual items and the layout within their separate boxes? If that's the case, there's nothing I can do about that. The PopShop plugin supplies all of that, which bugs me no end, because there are some obvious spelling errors in some of the product descriptions that are driving me nuts... oh well.

I think you mean that my blog posts are located on the about page?? Yeah. The About page is an info page for prospective buyers. However, Recent Posts is something that I meant to put back into the sidebar and I kept forgetting to do it! Go check it out now. I've rearranged the sidebar--again! Thanks for the reminder! ~cj
