I am joseph and work for many year on phlynx script as one of team. Now little interest showing by owner and they are willing for me to have free go at taking it back to living ot even to sell whole script for shiny car. My english not always supreme but my program skills are best ever. I even make features for other scripts as freelance agent. I will need advise and help to make venture work for which I am coming here first time. I have already put features in to extend capacity of script but desire a team to work with me for success. I will for sure write feature list for all. Nothing to lose but many to gain for me.
It will be good to see the script revived. There were many good things in the script. Unfortunately it got into controversies very quickly
i agree jitendraag even this day i got red reputation saying "Here we go again, Hi Kevin, who are you now?" to this poster i say no to biting but will simply let small people be small behavioured and bigger people who want some things out of lives to gain success - jealousy plays no part in my life. the script is to for sure be revived but as mikey said by peoples who know more than past history and offers of help ready to be taken to my p.m box.

That's very modest. I hope phplynx will not go down again because of 'problem with communication'. The coward who gave me a red rep knows he has a demented mentality.

anyone who really thinks it is in the hands of a Serbian coder who pretends to speak with the same broken english used in other usernames trying to promote this script needs to look a little harder next time lets see how much you can promote when you get banned

I really don't care about any past or future feuds. I hope the script gets revived as I think it had (and may have been originally designed as) good business directory functionality in additional to what is needed for a links directory. I am in need of a script for a business directory and have not found one which does what I want. Competition and choice is a good thing and I will be watching closely.
When you say "business directory functionality" are you referring to the ability to include phone numbers and a physical address? (in the case of bricks 'n' mortar businesses). If so, then I totally agree that is necessary functionality to include in a directory script.
You got it guy. Is for a regional business directory (with and without) web sites. Land Line, Cell Phone, toll free number, address, optional map... Basically the whole 9 yards. Been playing with a script but the SQL is a roadblock for me. Premium pricing by category, claim this listing etc, etc. Would love to build it into a portal where the directory is the central feature. About a 6-7 county rural area with lots of small towns. BTW, There is a reply PM from me in the queue at your place.
