How to thumbnail a webpage

    I want to make thumbnails of webpages with php and save them to my server.

    It hard to do it in PHP only. You'd need to build a HTML-renderer in PHP.

    Just searched for thumbnail webpage php on google and the first hit provided something usefull (atleast, looks like it).

    Perhaps worth reading trough that, can't provide you with a direct link tough as I'm a new member ;)

    There is a really simple method:
    http://open.thumbshots.org/image.pxf?url=SITE URL

    you can replace google.com with another site url
    e.g
    <img src="http://open.thumbshots.org/image.pxf?url=http://www.google.com">

    seen this in a few web directories.

    In case you are thinking about linking the thumbnail from some other location, you can think about a better option at
    http://www.websnapr.com/
    You have the liberty to change the size.
    But in case you want to create a script all for yourself and keep generating, i can just help you out.
