to be honest, there's a lot of people selling websites on ebay... i personally wouldn't do it, but if you decide to try it, then i wish you the best of luck
Yes i do sold it once in last month. Actually its not my intention to sell my website at ebay, but due to requested by my client, then i put my website for sell at ebay to let my client bid.
i bought lots of websites in ebay. you can sell, there are lots of peoples who are buying from ebay for cheap price and selling it in dp
I do wonder how safe it is to sell on ebay. I have heard that selling a site using ebay and paypal can be sketchy.
I have done it once, it went great, they only problem is the risk of the buyer saying he never got it, but its the same as it is on dp
We have sold MANY MANY websites on Ebay over the last 5 years or so .... Several years ago the prices we used to get were very good averaging $600 - $1500 per website ... (note, we used to create custom website from the ground up that were of very high quality) ... However, since February of 2008 we saw a 50% drop in sales (final auction prices) ... I'm thinking this is due to various factors including the poor economy and many users abandoning ebay due to fee hikes.
are you more then the website is really worth and how do you find out how much it is worht? I'm pretty new to this field of business
it is worth 10x however much money it takes a month some sites value websites for you (eg www.dnscoop.com) but these hugely overvalue your site, and you will find no-one will actually buy at this price.
I think this is pretty interesting I was wondering have anybody every sold any type of blogs with custom themes plug ins or original articles on ebay or do your just sell the websites thanks
Im wonder how ppl still trade website on ebay safely, I'm hear that ebay not allowed digital product trading.am I wrong ?
hey I got a question did andybody of you try to sell a webdesign and not the whole page via ebay? because that would be interesting for me
i have sold a script once. it is better to buy a domain and make into a template - you will make more
Most of the sites for sale on eBay are pure junk. Stick with sitepoint if you have quality or if you're looking for quality.
