Imagine if every of the 160,000 adsense publishers do this "mistake" then try to contact them. Imagine if you was Google Most those "mistakes" do not register anyway so dont waste your time Good Luck In business
If you get such a mail, be happy. But it is definitely fatal to click the ad displayed on our own site, that too three times in a row.
even if its 1 time, its a violation of their TOS but ensure you don't make the same mistake again and pray that adsense doesn't consider this as exploitation of advertiser rights...
i think that google is a big company with intellegent people. if you posted a site of some one else and showed that its your and told in the forum that you clicked 3 times. so you think that google will disable his account, no google will investigate the case and will get your ip from the forum owner and be after you. if you clicked on your ads then you broke the terms and condition you have no right to legally use adsense any more.
I doubt you did it only once. NO way. google will not give you the credit as they you click your own ads. they know when you are making changes on your site you sometimes accidentally click on the ads. 3 clicks no big deal. 100 clicks is a different story. I could probably click on your add for .25 cents ...LOL
If you clicked it three times they will probably do an investigation on you unfortunately. If it was solely an accident and they do ban you, you can debate that you accidentally clicked on it and maybe get your account back.
Three times should be fine. I don't think they will close your account for accidental clicks and if they do then you can contact them and explain what happened.
I doubt that is the real email, maybe something like anyways.. just don't do it again and you should be fine
