    In google webmaster tool , I checked the Links Section.. for the external links.. there i found 102 baclinks to my website..
    But If i checked in google through "Link" operator its showing me nothing...

    I didnt understand why this happens..

    Not sure to be honest but I have seen and heard too many cases like yours. Discrepancies in data being displayed in GWT and those seen by using advanced operators.

    It is probably broken or not updated.

    Google will show you (personally) in webmasters tools ALL the links that you have
    but they don't want everyone to know your links ... usually the link operator gives about 5-20% of the actual links

    I searched for u and exact answer is this

    If you do a Google search using the link: operator (e.g. [link:www.example.com]), you will see a sampling of pages that link to your site. For a more complete list of pages that link to you, verify your site in Webmaster Tools and then click the Links tab to see the sites that link to you.

    The Webmaster Centre gives you more detailed information about your backlink structure than the ordinary link:somesite. The Webmaster Centre is about the same with what you get with yahoo backlinks, just google wanted to make their full stats only available to the webmaster of the site.

    Look at it this way:

    - link:somesite gives you a small preview of all the links to the site

    - logging into Webmaster Centre shows a lot more links with more detailed stats but is still not 100% of the backlinks you have.

    The result you get from webmaster tool is the correct result, webmaster tool tell you everything about you site.
