You could try social bookmarking sites like digg, stumble upon, technoratti which are a great source of traffic. You could also try a PPC campaign. Constantly have your site submitted to quality directories so that you could rank better in search engines for specified keywords. This would increase your organic traffic.
Hey renanorola…..well increase traffic to ones website is indeed a tuf job, especially if you not those big names, to whom ppl flock to....anyways coming back to business...traffic to a site can be increased if you resort to PPC...a bit expensive but if done optimally along with on page optimization would work.... Another strategy that you can resort to is to obtain backlinks or incoming links. This ensures that with relevant links you climb up in the search engine rankings. In fact there are no standard ways of getting links. A website owner should resort to all the methods of link building namely directory submissions, article submissions, blog postings, social bookmarking, press releases etc. As a matter of fact backlinks are only one of the few means to increase your online visibility. The content of the site, the sites you link back to and of course the competitors’ innovations on their own website leads to an increase in the search engine ranking. But on a personal front, I feel that good content, appealing layout and a few on page optimization would lead to enhanced traffic....then of course if the target audience like your site they would definetly spread the word leading to increased traffic Hope this helped.....
Search Engine Optimization, PPC , Banners, Youtube, Social Bookmarketing, etc. the best advice i can give is be CREATIVE no one likes a boring website
I think Try To Submit site in Social Bookmark sites, Classifieds Directories and Submit press release.
I assume you want to increase your traffic to make money from your site, right? Well, here are some thoughts. Submitting your posts to social bookmarking sites may give you traffic, but only temporary depending on the quality. Furthermore, visitors from them rarely buy from you or click your Adsense. They may love your posts, and they can be your followers. But making money from them, I don't think so. Besides, some of them like Digg do not like fellow members submitting their own posts. So to increase organic traffic, I would suggest to minimize being sociable. Focus on content, quality content, and relevant content. Then, increase your backlinks. I agree with Askdguru on that. Forum posting with attractive signature also helps a lot, as long as you share useful content. But I think the best source of traffic that can give us money are still search engines especially Google. This is because this is where searchers go to find something to buy, or to read. Social traffic is more on to increase followers, though. However, being on top will be quite useless if your niche is not hot. If that's the case, I suggest to pay attention to the keywords to optimize so that the searchers can be lead to your site frequently. Good luck!
