If it's something not so obvious, that you think might be against their TOS, then asking never hurt anyone. Like nitro said though, it might delay your development a bit.

"Thanks for your inquiry, the Google Adsense team would like to inform you
that we are ignoring every little dumb question that you are sending our way, and
might even consider banning your account as a result of said questions, we are
looking to implement a nuissance clause in our TOS, as soon as it's implemented
you will be the first one to go, Thank you and happy holidays

It's much faster to do a web search than to ask them. Most of the time, you will get a direct answer.

    LMAO

that's about it right there... don't ever expect google adsense support to help you with any questions.

lol, if he was still around you could 'Ask Jeeves' as well.

Google doesn't exist as many newbies think. The customer service team are just people sitting at a desk trained up to use the telephone/email and to either send out an automated reply or point you to google help pages. In rare cases your email will be forwarded to a person with more training who can answer your question personally, but much of their answer will be pasted from the TOS.

As others said, just look it up yourself.

It's always good to have them going over your site with a fine tooth comb looking for violations. Why wouldn't it be?

    1) because they are NOT willing to do that. think how many websites there are out there. if they offered a service like that they they would have employ a lot more people.

    2) because if they find a violation, then they are much more likely to ban your site than tell you to fix it. they are like that. your site is just one in a billion. if there is a problem with it, then it is not a good site to them and there are usually enough good sites on a topic.

You can ask, but if you expect an answer then you must be a big player to get one. Although all that adword/adsense business lives mostly from small sites the policy for them is .

    LOL>

I have had issues and no one ever replies to a message.

I just had 5-6 automated replies emailed back to me.
