    I have experienced rankings that have gone from #3 on Google to #166 then back to #2 with a 48 hour period. this is usually a sign that something big is on the horizon.

    i have seen some changes within 1 website too, but i wasnt sure if its a real update.

    does an update apply to a whole website at the same time for alle pages or can updates take place for only a few pages and the rest will show up later?

    The Toolbar PR is merely a snapshot from a while ago. How long is debatable though, but backlinks from a week before the update is unlucky to affect a Toolbar PR update
