Is Joomla sites SEO friendly?

    If a site is build joomla rather than normal coding, will that matter to seo? That is whether a site build in joomla is more SEO friendly or less?

    Thanks Debach for the link. I have just read the thread, its basically comparing wordpress and joomla. I dont know much about joomla and less about wordpress, but it seems that wordpress is mailny for blogging not other websites. The wordpress.org site itself has the heading "WordPress › Blog Tool and Publishing Platform". So, I think they also think so.
    I used to do codig myself in php-mysql. But doing everything yourself takes time. So, i was thinking of using a cms for faster building and want to choose the best, not try everything and then decide. So, will it be good to build website in joomla?

    Joomla is a Great CMS with loads of plugins for SEO. I will say, go with it (even though I belong to drupal club)
