    Just look at these products:

    Google Assassin
    Google Nemesis
    Google Conquest
    Google Ambush
    Google Massacre
    Google Snatch

Seriously, what do they have against Google? :D

To kill Google is a wrong term, to takeover Google would be a better description. Everyone would like to keep his/her site at the top so everyone wants to takeover Google. :)

how about benefiting from their brandname :D. Google is an established brand name which is known to almost 99 % of internet users and many would like to either find a way to beat the system (google)

People are attached to google with one way or the other "adsnese or adwords" or others so these guys who come up with such products are trying to attarct those people , it would be enternally difficult to start a new brand and market it , so they are just involved in this effort as far as I think.

    Hope this makes some sense

Google is the king of a country, or some land. They set the rules and the majority of people tend to follow them in hope of not being bannished from their land, or in Google's sense, the result pages.

So when you think of that, why wouldn't people want to kill Google or take over it if they were able to have such power?

Considering it for a ebook title.

    Depends on the content Wolfey.

As for the titles, it is a way to garner some free publicity.

Most products fail to live up to their pre release hype.

Agreed. If they were really honest the title should be:

"Lame ebook that has the same information that is on DP for free."

It's reality that there are sites that are being affected and suffer from Google updates, even though this sites supposed to rank well.
