Classified ads don't bring traffic... It bring sales... Classfied ads sites are good for products and not for websites.
Are You asking the traffic you get once you submit Your ads or the traffic the ad submition websites get?

I think it helps alot as most of the time it gives extra exposure and also can give valuable backlinks to your own site !!
It depends on where the classifield is. Sometimes it really helps (from my own experience). Worth trying.

If you post on the top 5 classified ads sites...you could get over 1000 uniques total in just 2 or 3 days
It depends on different factors...Your offer, how your ad is written, which city/location your ad is posted in, which section your ad is posted in. Even the time of day you post. What kind of item are you promting?
Very, very few people go to online free classifieds, tabish8612. Like signatures, the traffic is incredibly miniscule. But, try it anyway, to see for yourself.
