Azoogle Mystifies Me

I have seen the $8K a day threads, and all the rest....so I'm still a little hopeful.
But what mystifies me is how anyone can earn anything without starting a search campaign and dropping cash for traffic.

    Point being:
One of my blogs gets a tremendous football crowd on the weekends, so I put up a couple banner ads targeted precisely to this crowd.
    5,000+ views a day, 4 clicks and 0 leads.

I've been playing around with this program on and off for a couple years and can't help but come to the conclusion that only search traffic works for this game.
The PPC text ad units are on fire, but the Azoogle units are avoided like the plague.

    Mystified.

The VAST majority of people pulling in $x,xxx/day with affiliate offers are using PPC...What makes you think this stuff is organic?

You can make a killing on organic traffic too. You just shouldn't be so foolish as to think that people will click on banner ads.

Just consider the numbers for a second. Say your banner ad gets 1% CTR (maybe). That's 1/100 or 50/5,000. So, you're looking at maybe 50 clicks per day. If an offer converts at 1% (depends on your targeting), you're going to get maybe 1 sale every 2 days. If you're selling a ringtone or whatever, that's maybe $5 a day. At that point AdSense ads will pay out better for you.

Then again, AdSense ads would be more targeted. And, at the same time the AdSense ads are text ads, not graphic banners, and people are banner blind by now. Thus, if you are just slapping up some banners on your site hoping to make money doing it, good luck, but it's doomed to fail.

PPC marketing doesn't work because of high traffic numbers, it works because of high conversion numbers. If your pages don't convert, you don't make money. It's just that simple.

If the text ads are on fire , then remove the banners and make your own text ad with the azoogle links in it.

Are you essentially saying to use the email links as text?
    Is that allowed in Azoogle?

Use the web/banner links not the email links
