How directory submission useful for website?

 

It is a great source of one way link. But you can only received few traffic from it or even zero visitor through directory submission.

As per my experience,I have one site on health topics related to different diseases.

For this site,I did directory submission in particular related categories and i got good ranking result for my 3 to 4 keywords.

In short,effect of directory submission are different for different sites,and also depend on submission type like free,reciprocal or paid.

Hate it or love it, directory submissions is one of the easiest way of getting one way links... you just need to make sure you are submitting your site to quality Search Engine friendly directories

 

U bet....directory submissions are in fact, in my personal opinion a great way to build links. Submitting to search engine friendly directories, under the most relevant category not only helps you get links but with time and a few on page optimization help you climb the serp ladder

 

I still do directory submission for getting one way links though I don't spend much time for this method.
