I have a strategy question for you guys. I will outline my scenario and then pose the question. I am developing a Teen Jobs site...link is in my sig. I am building the content and will have 30 new pages in next couple weeks. i am doing all the normal seo stuff, forums, directories, blog,squidoo, article, etc... I am doing a link building campaign with anchor keyword "teen jobs". There are other key words i would like to develop;ie.."summer jobs" "summer job search" My question is this: should I build these key words and link them to teenjobscene.com or is it better to build a new site with the theme and keywords for "summer jobs" and build up content there and have a button that says summer jobs and when they click it will take them to the teenjobscene site. I already have a good domain picked out: summerjobssearch.com I am looking forward to your thoughts and experiences with this...pls let me know if i need to clarify.. ty
I'd say they are very relevant and it should be easy to target both phrases for the same site. Otherwise, it's just a matter of personal choice if you want two different sites.
Don't make your niche to broad, when your building traffic keep it focused...I have no knowledge of this teen job scene but if you have no competitors keep widening your target audience...if you have competitors keep it focused.
