Myths Of Internet Marketing

Have you heard of "bum marketing"?

Many people write hundreds (or even thousands) of articles which they submit to ezinearticles and/or other article directories and/or put on their own blogs, linking to "review sites" which are a form of simple blog where they "review" many different products available at places like Clickbank, all with affiliate links.

Many people make a living just from people clicking on their links in forums.

There are countless ways of making a living online without advertising. This doesn't matter very much. What matters a bit is when people start saying that it's a "FACT" (rather than their own potentially mistaken opinion) that advertising is the ONLY way. It just becomes a silly conversation when someone can get it as blatantly wrong as that. Now please excuse me if I drop out of the conversation, I didn't come here to argue. The more complex the better

Fact -

Not always simple is the way forward at a lot of times

 

Lol all the simple ideas are gone! You gotta be complex and add your own twist if you want to break through and stand a chance

The noobs can believe that, but I and other more experienced webmasters know BS when we see it.

And, uh, the term is article marketing, something that has been around for over 20 years, not bum marketing, a term coined by some guy who made it up so he can sell his lame e-book on article marketing.

 

And "uh", if you look at post number 19 on the previous page you'll see that that's exactly how I referred to it yesterday.

Myth. You can not make money with internet marketing

 

Myth: You can make money from doing almost nothing and leaving it on auto-pilot.
Fact: You have to constantly look after things to consistently make money online

I completely agree with you. This is one of the "Famous" reality we already know but does not stop to compete.

What do you mean by pyramid schemes?

 

Correct experience can clear all your doubts, it is the best teacher.

 

This term is implying that the product itself has no intrinsic value, and the only way to make anything out of it is by selling it on, to others who can then also only do the same themselves. What you're buying isn't really a "product of value" at all, it's effectively no more than a "license to re-sell", in other words: you're just buying a "promotable business opportunity", not something worth having for itself.
