    3 men walked into a tavern to book a room for the night which costs $27.00 The three men each have a $10.00 bill and they pay $30.00 to the inn keeper ($10.00 x 3) As the 3 men went upstairs to the room they tell the inn keeper to give the bell boy who's carrying their luggage the $3.00 in change as a tip. After carrying their luggage the bell boy goes downstairs to collect his tip but the crafty inn keeper only gives him $2.00 instead of the $3.00 quoted and keeps the extra dollar himself.:mad: Now if $30.00 - $2.00 (the tip) = $28.00 + $1.00 (what the inn keeper stole from the bell boy) = $29.00 where did the other dollar go?
