This took me forever to write. I hope you guys enjoy the post. Please leave any feedback in the forums or as a comment on the article. This isn't a lame attempt to get traffic. By reading this post, I almost guarantee an increase in your AdSense earnings. (Unless you already know what I know.) Lol Check it: AdSense Tips PS: Want a free link to your site? In final note, my big brain does believe that everything is there. However, I know that I likely missed a thing or two. If you notice a missing tip, please let me know by commenting below the article at my site. Cool tips will receive a DoFollow link to their website as long as it's appropriate and somewhat related to my niche.
Many people do not know these tips. In fact, I took a look at your blog and it seems to me like it could use some work. As for Great Panda, I am glad to see that someone appreciates the article. Yes. The stuff may be "basic." However, to those who do know it's a reminder. Sometimes we get so lost with AdSense that we can't remember the way we used to have our ads back when we were making the most money. As for beginners, this article has everything they need to know to do well. In final note, you say my article is useless. However, if this were the case these forums wouldn't exist. They were created and intended for people to post useful information. Many people on here complain of a low CTR. If they follow my tips, their CTR will rise and they will earn more money. Agreed?
The tips have been discussed before and while it is an attempt to get traffic for your blog like the other guy said, that does not bother me as much as the ad thing at the bottom of the page. Very annoying. However some newbies might find the tips useful so a free bump for you.
The ad is a test. I've never done it before. However, it directly relates to my niche so I figured, "Why not?" But if it annoys my readers, it's not worth it. I have to let it finish running and then I won't run them again. ps: For those of you wondering... it's not a pay per impression ad. It's a pay per day ad from Social Spark. Also... I could careless about the traffic. I have stable traffic from the Search Engines and Youtube. Lol. I'm just trying to help others out and I really didn't want to re-post my article here because that takes formatting work.. blah
I would say very good post for newbies. Omkar stop bashing people for no reason. I have spent numerous hours answering the same old questions thousands times all over the place on DP. People still ask the same questions, hopefully this post is read by them
Thanks man. Glad to see you enjoyed it. I am still finding that a non standard blue color works best for me... I wonder why.
Having the whole adsense ad in black works well for me. On the other hand almost any layout will work well if the content pulls very relevent ads that people want to know more about. A lot is made about layout, I say design your page to pull a highly relevent and stimulating ad group and anything will work.
Great article. I did post a comment there about adding a heatmap like the one at http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/google-heatmap-2.htm So, I didn't technically find something missing, but a heatmap would be a good addition.
nice tips..just may be you can help me ..i am unable to put adsense inside posts on front page but in posts page i am able to do that. The template i use is a custom one and i am a bit bad in Xhtml.
not the latest tips but still appreciate you put your effort to compile the tips together. there are new adsense users everyday, and they are looking for such thing.
Checked out your blog. Nice set-up and nice blog. The tips will help newbies and in the site you have some nice tips. Sometimes people have some pretty good sites and we miss them without links to them. Bigger sites get many backlinks with major promotions and smaller sites have a hard time competing and become needles in the webstack. It's a shame sometimes that you have the ability to reference other sites but not your own, even when it's a good site, without getting attacked or even penalized. You have a nice site and the post was presented well. Keep up the good work and style.
Thank you man. It's true. I actually recently did a post about something like this. It's titled something like "the top 10 bloggers you didn't know about." It talks about awesome blogs that people don't know about because the fact that they don't rank well in the SERPS. Actually, here's the post.
